Everyday we see the same Top 15 Sifters in the sidebar...It's a great honour to be listed there amoung such talented video shareres, I am sure everybody is familiar with these sifters due to their participation and the fact that they are listed in the sidebar all day.
I think a great way to get more usernames on the out there would be to add a 2nd list consisting of the top 15 sifters of the week, it would most likely rotate more and be more interesting to watch, as the names will change more frequently. Also help introduce us to lesser known hard working sifters.

Fedquip, perhaps there could be a list of most active users - I'm thinking along the lines of what the financial pages lists as the most actively traded stocks for that week. This would hopefully recognize the sifters that are rising fast among the ranks because of a high quantity of vote-getting-sifts.
The top 15 sifters will change. Some videos are not replaceable when they die. Some sifters will have other activities that will take a higher priority.
Also, the top 15 sifter ranking is by votes. When I joined VS in 2006 it only took 4 votes for a video to graduate from the queue. There are lot more sifters voting now. If a sifter sifts a lot videos that earn 100 votes each, that sifter will rise fast.
Perhaps too much emphasis is being placed on rank.
