Just superb. I really love that spider photo. Any idea what was spun up in it's web?

I've never even attempted macro photography before. Do you essentially sit with the lens focused on a stick and hope for a dragonfly to land in your shot? I can't imagine any other way to get such a close-up shot in nature than that.

I think it was a dragonfly that was in the web.
Certain insects aren't very skiddish - dragon flys will fly around for a bit, but when they land they stay put for a minute of two. Also, it helps to have a good lens - mine was $550. And mlx, PM me your email and I'll send you what I have.
