An amusing little flash game. Can you beat it?
Based on Terry Reilly's famous piece 'In C', some creative youtubers have recorded themselves noodling in the key of Bb. Start and stop individual tracks as you like to create your own version of the piece.
How am I supposed to get anything done, dag. Seriously. There is just way too much to do on this site. Like right now for instance. I need to copy some music at kinkos, pay some urgent bills, get my car registered and still leave time to drive/load into my gig at 6, yet here I am, writing this blog. Damn you all to hell for making me procrastinate.
CHEYENNE, WY—After attempting to contain a living-room blaze started by
a cigarette, card-carrying Libertarian Trent Jacobs reluctantly called
the Cheyenne Fire Department Monday. "Although the community would do
better to rely on an efficient, free-market fire-fighting service, the
fact is that expensive, unnecessary public fire departments do exist,"
Jacobs said. "Also, my house was burning down." Jacobs did not offer to
pay firefighters for their service.
This is cool. This is the 1st in my comprehensive 457,922 part series chronicaling the bathrooms of the mighty nation I call home. Huell Howser eat your heart out. ... more inside ... Blankfist, Smibbo and I seem to share a love of horror films, and I was curious to see if there are other horror fans out there, so feel free to go ahead and list your top 10 (or so) horror films of all time. Just for fun, why not list your 3 least favorite horror films too. There are plenty of horror films I haven't seen, so hopefully you can turn me on to some good scares.
Top 11 1. The Shining 2. Alien 3. Evil Dead II 4. Poltergeist 5. Lost Highway 6. Jacob's Ladder 7. Shaun of the Dead 8. Nightmare on Elm Street 9. Dawn of the Dead (2004) 10. Blair Witch 11. Psycho (obligatory classic)
Bottom 3 I'm going to limit my bottom 3 to films that had some artistic merit to begin with to liven the discussion, otherwise it would be impossible to narrow down between the infinite terrible sequels of all the various horror franchises. 1. Wendigo - The trailer was great, the moster was cool looking, but the film just had nowhere to go. 2. Devil's Rejects - Rob Zombie's white trash horror opera did well with critics and fans, but I found it dull and meandering. 3. Event Horizon - A nice build up, but oh what a dissapointing climax.
