New BitTorrent sites are launched every day, but only a few stand out or have something new to offer. YouTorrent is such a new site; feature-wise it’s just a meta-search engine, but the design and user interface make it one of the best I’ve seen.

YouTorrent: Great New BitTorrent Search Engine YouTorrent is “the world’s first real-time torrent comparison search engine” according to the site itself. The site is a meta search engine, which means that it doesn’t host any torrent files itself. It currently searches 12 sources; Mininova, The Pirate Bay, IsoHunt, MyBittorrent, NewTorrents, SuprNova, Monova, Vuze, BitTorrent, LegitTorrents, SeedPeer and BTjunkie.

I've played with it a bit- and it works pretty well. It's much needed, because as the other sites are taken down- this kind of search engine can just bypass to the next site.

Hope it stays up- and hope their servers are in Sweden. Arrrgh matey.

A little too many problems. It can't sort by date correctly. It sorts all 1's then 2's.. And it puts days ahead of months.

Also their searches are all urls ie. tag/porn but they should be a rss feed for those URLs that are updated like twice a day. That would be super useful.

It would be nice if they could also break it down by category. Im sure in time they will dial it in. Ive made it my torrent site of choice.

I personally use http://scrapetorrent.com/Search/ and a private tracker...

For torrents I'm still hooked to www.isohunt.com however I'm going to check this out, thanks!

My preference is still newzbin.com and my newsgroup sites but they don't have everything

I usually use torrentz.com or eztv.nl

^ when it comes to torrents this is the only place I go. This blog as as well many of others like this are from there. Plus all the torrents they direct you to are dialed. You never have to worry about someone tracking you. I used to files from many of the main torrent sites and because of that Ive been sent 4 or 5 emails from Comcast warning me.

Were you using Peer Guardian when this happened? Just asking because I wonder how effective it actually is.
