"This video has been redacted due to the copyright claim of Bill Plympton." -siftbot

Bill Plympton does not understand how the Internet works. His legal shenanigans are not good for freedom of speech, if he wants to censor the internet, he should go to the providers, not propagaters like videosift.

I don't even know who he is, and now I don't care. He sucks.

I don't blame the admins for this, I'm sure they are as outraged as I am. I just want you to know how much he sucks. (It's a lot.)

It seems to me that I neglected to show my pictures from my Texas trip with you guys, only with the people I have as friends on facebook. Well, here they are for the rest of you, if you want to see them.

Enjoy.

I think things were much easier then, where everything was beautiful and nothing hurt. Not like now, where we have drama damn near round every corner. *sigh*

 I don't like antagonists.

Hehe, I just submitted a (relatively tasteful) pedobear design for teevirus and 3 second later a huge pedobear is right smack in the middle of videosift

It makes me giggle.

It was a great success. We had loads of fun I was very pleased to meet some quality sifters. We will get some pictures up as soon as we organize ourselves.

Now I have to take care of a sordid mess I've been dragged into. It never ends with the drama.

Ornothoron, Haldaug and I went to a cinema on times square and saw Moon, which I've looked forward to.

In essence it's pretty good. The trailers set up a false reveal, which is dealt with quickly and it moves on to consequences and such instead. It's very well filmed and Sam Rockwell really does great in the role.

 I recommend seeing it.

First day of my life originally by Bright Eyes

I only recently starting hearing a few Bright Eyes songs and I like them. This one has been sifted as well, see if you can find it.(mp3 download)

Waiting in the Weeds originally by Eagles

This is from the new album from Eagles. I think this is probably the best song on the album. I love the modulation from G to D in the middle. I think I fucked up the high part, so I may have to re-do it. (mp3 download)

Pretty Things originally by Rufus Wainwright

I think Rufus is a great singer and I love many of his tunes. This one I've played for a long time, and I stumbled on it today when I looked over different lyrics I had lying around. (mp3 download)

One Man Guy originally by Loudon Wainwright III

This is another great tune. My version is based more on Rufus' rendition of it instead of Loudon's, which is much more folky. They are both sifted, I believe. (mp3 download)

Aftermath originally by Kashmir

This is a wonderful tune that's made by the Danish band Kashmir, of which I've sifted several songs. I encourage you to check them out if you like this song. (mp3 download)

Condor Ave originally by Elliott Smith

I'm still in my Elliott Smith vibe, even though I don't listen to him quite as much as before the summer, in spite of sort of having more to relate to now. Anyway, this was recorded on a crappy little computer mic, so it may be a little hizzy. (mp3 download)

Please listen and comment if you want. I'd love to hear some feedback or perhaps requests?

I'm getting pretty tired of being called a creep, stalker, and whatever other fucking names people throw at me here.

Cut the fucking shit.

I love this place, but there has to be limits.

Got back to Denmark two days ago, and managed to get good and drunk for two days in a row.

I'll get some pictures up shortly, as soon as I can get them out of my phone. Should be possible.

Due to personal reasons, peggedbea had to leave for a while, which means that I'm sitting in the airport now, and have to bitch and moan to lufthansa to get me home 5 days early.

There wouldn't happen to be anyone near DFW who can house a poor Dane until the 7th?

Lufthansa only have office hours in ~2 hours, so I'm just sitting around now.

It's day one, it's really really hot. But I managed to avoid jet lag so far. Probably sleeping soon.

It took forever to get through customs and security, not because there were any problems, just many people. I like it here, everything is big.. even me.

We shopped at khoks, or something like that.. boy, do I like khoks. Hmmm... maybe it was khols..

I recorded a bit more stuff last night. These are the results that I'm comfortable enough with other people hearing.

"A place called Home" is a Kim Richey song that I heard on Angel the first time. Great tune. Mp3 version: http://nickithansen.dk/music/a_place_called_home.mp3

The next one is a Rufus Wainwright tune called Dinner at Eight, which I think is just delightful. I struggled with the chords on it for a long time, and it's been a while since I played it. I've sifted a version of it too, if you want to hear the real one. MP3 version: http://nickithansen.dk/music/dinner_at_eight.mp3

The last one is one of my favorite Elliott Smith tunes called Waltz #1, which is pretty damn difficult to do solo on a guitar, but I think it turned out alright. MP3 version: http://nickithansen.dk/music/waltz1.mp3

Am drunk. Recorded stuff. Passing out.

Elliott Smith's "Between the Bars". A little more noise then what I like - curse you, computer cooler! - I'll try to record to my laptop next time, that should be more quiet. MP3 version here: http://nickithansen.dk/music/between_the_bars.mp3

Muse "Falling Away with You". Something I recorded last time I uploaded, I just never got around to making the embed. MP3 version here http://nickithansen.dk/music/falling_away_with_you2.mp3

I'm working on getting a good version of Jeff Buckley's Hallelujah up here, but I've not been up to the task these last few days. Oh and Berticus, I tried muddling through his Corpus Christi Carol and oh my dear sweet jebus that's a hard difficult one! I'll try to make a version that's not painful to the human ear if possible, and if not I'll probably keep it under my hat.
