woke to the sound of chattering chipmunks, scraping away at my hard drive for information that was no longer there.
something corrupted, something lost, chipmunks search to no avail.
i lost a lot of work, on that hard drive.
i'm trying to think of it as an unintentional, and poorly timed, spring cleaning.

that's the least of what i lost!
I remember losing a HDD to massive torrent downloads, the constant writes and access eventually whittled the drive to death. This is why now I keep a seperate system or HDD dedicated to torrent downloads, moving the files upon completion to another HDD.
