I think you'll have a lot of fun there. I haven't been to China since 2001, but it was a blast! Make sure to go to Xian and see the Terracotta Army.

Few can master a language without living in its native territory for years as a young person. In China I bet even most of the English teachers have never been to an English speaking country because airfare is expensive.

I know it's cheap humor, but I still love it. It needn't be from China. And I find it just as funny the other way. When I lived in France I occasionally found french translations that were pretty dang funny too.
