I don't know how many of you read him, but he's pretty important to a lot of SF readers.  He's announced he has early onset alzheimers.  This is very sad.

Yeah, i caught the BBC news article and it made me sad

I met him at a signing many years ago, when and he's always been a really nice and centered guy.
