yeah... theres been some kind of wierd police checkpoint/observation post about a block from my place all day. heard there were about 40,000 demonstrators at the capital building too.

SMITH, WABASHA, ROBERT ST BRIDGES ARE ALL CLOSED. The only route open to south of the river from downtown is I35E.

all this with the state fair going on, schools getting back in session the U of M namely which adds about 60,000 more people to the mix. The bridge is still out so this messes up traffic even more. All so a bunch of republicans could get together and pat each other on the back for 4 days. Thanks.
